CM pays homage on Police Commemoration Day

Chief Minister Sri Chandrababu paid homage to the police personnel who lost their lives on duty working for the country at the Police Commemoration Statue at Gosha Mahal in Hyderabad. He said that about 134 police personnel have lost their lives on duty. Home Minister Sri Devendar Goud was also present.

Naxals blasts MDO Office
Naxals of the Peoples War Group blasted the Mandal Development Officer Bulding in Eturu Nagaram by planting detonators. It may be recalled Naxals made attempts to blast the Eturunagaram Police station on 29 July 2001. They also blasted Coco cola Bottling Plant in Mangalagiri area in Guntur District today.

CLP Leader Dr. Y S Raja Sekhar Reddy demanded the Government to grant an ex gratia of Rs. 5 Lakhs for the families of persons who lost their lives due to floods besides compensating the actual losses of affected persons.

Mr. Talluri Venkateswar Rao, TDP District President has been appointed chairman of the Sri Seetaramachandraswamy Devesthanam Trust Board in Khammam.

An APSP Constable committed suicide by shooting at himself with a 303 riffle in Hyderabad.
