Chief Minister Sri Chandrababu Naidu has reshuffled his cabinet today with some new entries. He said that the posts for Deputy Speaker and Corporation soon. A total of 11 new ministers came into the team with the current cabinet reaching 39 of which 6 new members got cabinet rank. The Ministers took oath at a program held at Raj Bhawan by Governor Dr. C Rangarajan.
Mr. Somireddy Chandra Mohan Reddy (Sarvepalle, Nellore) inplace of Adala Prabhakar, Mr. Bojjala Gopala Krishna Reddy ( Chitoor ), Mr. Jaya Pushpa Raj, Mr. Rama Subba Reddy, Dr. Kodela Sivaprasada Rao, Mr. Talasani Srinuvasa Yadav ( Secunderabad ) took charge as Cabinet rank ministers while Mr. Anjaneyulu, Mr. Buddhasani Damodar Reddy (Karimnagar), Mr. Ponnaparati Subba Reddy , Suddala Devayya (Labour), P Naryana Swamy (Sugar and Horticulture), P Ramulu (Sports, Youth Services, CMEY) took charge as Minister of State.
Among those who were out were Mrs J Lakshmipadmavathi, Mrs. Pushpaleela, Dr. S Aruna, Mr. E Peddireddy, Dr. Siva Prasad, Mr. Adala Prabhakar Reddy, Alapati Rajendra Prasad were removed from the Ministerial team.
Chief Minister said that he has taken legal opinion on Kodela Siva Prasad Rao before taking him into the party. He said that a through study was made before giving ministerial ship to any of the member and removal of a member from the Cabinet does not mean that they have failed to do their duty.
A 2-day workshop on How to succeed in National and International Marketing began at Visakhapatnam today. The workshop was inaugurated by Ms. K Rathna Prabha, Development Commissioner of VEPZ. The program was organised by Vizagpatnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, FCCI Ladies Organisation and HANNS SEIDEL Foundation.
