Chief Minister Sri Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated a European Funded Tribal Up liftment program for two lakh tribals in four coastal districts. The program STEP is a Rs. 58 Crore project. The program will be implemented by CARE India with the NGO's and the Government of Andhra Pradesh in the districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam and East Godavari.
