A 3-member Committee was setup to probe into the derailment of Rayalaseema Express. The Panel was setup by South Central Railway and the members will be Senior Administrative Cadre members.
CPI(M) to oppose privitisation
CPI(M) Secretary Sri B V Raghavulu said that they will oppose any drive by the Government towards privitisation. He said that the Government of Andhra Pradesh is driving plans to privities 97 state public undertakings as per the recommendations of the World Bank between 2002 - 2007.
