CEEP Examination results announced

The Entrance for various Polytechnic colleges in the state - CEEP 2001 results were announced today. Minister for Technical Education Sri A.Rajendra Prasad released the results today. The top 10 ranks details were released. The first rank went to Hall Ticket No : 192369 who scored 111/120 marks.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu visited various places in Andhra Pradesh and monitored the Neeru - Meeru programme in the place. He began his North Andhra trip with Adilabad. CM enquired the Drainage and Sanitation facilities in the localities and praised Municipal Commissioner on their performance. He visited Warangal personally monitored the lake in construction by the local people. He said that he will do his best to get Godavari waters to the various places in the state. Meanwhile Congress MLA's tried to obstruct the speech asking about the minimal costs to the farmers in the state.
DGP Mr. H J Dora said that no criminal will be left over and case will be filed on anyone connected with the recent Child adoption and selling cases and that no one - including Mrs. Anita Sen will be left escaped from the case.
PCC President Mr. Satyanarayana Rao participated today in in Rasta Roko program conducted by Congress in front of Kakinada Collectorate in East Godavari district. He said Jailbaro and Rail Rokho programs will be conducted in the future.
The police seized huge ammunition for various dumps of Peoples War Group in Adilabad, Nizamabad and Mahabunagar Districts. 3 naxls of the PWG were also arrested. The ammunition includes latestest AL 47 Rifles (63), a LMG and AK47 Magazine, .303 rifles among others.
The State Government said it will be setting up a Special Court to deal with Artirocities on Schedules Castes and Tribes in the districts of Nellore, Kurnool, Cuddapah, Medak, Karimnagar, Krishna, Nizamabad, Guntur and Mahabubnagar.
The Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company made Rs. 18 Crores of Profit for the year 2000-01. This was announced by Mr. Y Gopalakrishna - Managing Director in a press release. The EPDC will be covering the Electricity needs of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam and East and West Godavari Districts.
Minister for Energy, Sri K Subbarayudu asked the AP Transco authorities to see that all works related to the company in regard to transmission lines and substations to be completed by March 2003.
Seven bogies of Charminar Express derailed near Elavur near Gummidipoondi. No one were injured.
