United Insurance special scheme for Engineering Students in state

United Insurance announced a special Insurance scheme for the Engineering students in the state. The scheme covers insurance to an Student's parents to Rs. 3 Lakhs. The Student is also compensated with Rs. 2 Lakhs when his guardian or his parent demises. United Insurance earned Rs. 100 Crores as profits during its last years operations and this years target is put at Rs. 150 Crores. The company is also coming out with a special insurance scheme for houses constructed with financial loans from Andhra Bank.

Home Minister Sri Devendar Goud inaugurated Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporations's Computer Online Services at the newly built Civil Center. State Minister for Municipalities Sri Farooq was also present at the function.
Minister Technical Education Sri. A.Rajendra Prasad said that the Government will be considering for Online Admissions for EAMCET from next year to make sure that admission programme will take place more faster. He said that though the number of Engineering Colleges in the state has doubled, the demand for the same was still there. He said that notices will be issued to Colleges who fails to maintain standards or procure infrastructure as per AICTE norms.
TDP Party President Chandrababu Naidu took part in a TDP Members Meet in Hyderabad. He said that TDP will be organising Mini-Mahanadu's to understand problems at District level and take steps for strengthening of the party and effective working of the Government to the people. He said that state level District meets will be held between 9 - 18 of this month.
Annavaram Sri Satyanarayana Swami Kalayanam The Bramhotsavam of Sri Satyanarayana Swami at Annavaram ended today. The Swamivaari Kalyanam was held today at the Ratnagiri Hill. Minister for Endowments , Sri D Sivarama Raju presented the Official Silk clothes to Swamivarru. Thousands of people from various parts of the state took the Darshan of the Lord.
