TDP says Neeru - Meeru is not a Party programme
Telugu Desam Party said that the Congress has been commenting on the Ministers saying that Neeru Meeru Programmes were activities of the TDP Party. Speaking at a press release, TDP Spokesman said that the programme was completely done impartially and that it was never been conducted as a party programme. He said that it is bad on the state congress to make such comments sitting in Gandhi Bhavan.
An Official release from the CM's Office said that CM will be holding all the official works during his visit to Visakhapatnam from Visakhapatnam only. CM will be attending the Mahanadu programme for three days between May 27 - 29 and he will be going through the official works during evenings and nights. Even the Talk to CM programme being broadcaster by Aakasavani and Doordarshan will be, for this time, broadcasted from Visakhapatnam only.

The Samithi meeting of Mahajana Sangarshana Samithi was held at Warangal. Speaking at the programme, Mr. Mandakrishna Madiga said that they will forward for the Telangana state programme. He said that the backwardness is not with the developments of the state and that with the people.

The Mahaboobnagar Police has arrested 12 couples who got recently married recently for getting married in Minorities. The Sub-Inspector of Shadnagar Police station said that the couples will be sent to Hyderabad for age-detection tests and that cases will be filed on those who were found to be minorities.
One Women was admitted at Osmania Hospital when a house owner tried to molest a girl who resisted. The owner then poured kerosene and tried to kill her but she escape with severe burns.
The Government made it clear that it will be regularising the Special Teacher posts. Due to this about 912 teachers will get permanent postings in various districts.
Naxals blasted the CDOT Telephone Exchange of Mustabad in Karimnagar at about 1:30 PM. The blast will took off early and 2 naxals died on the spot.
A Short Circuit in Electricity Power lines guttered 120 houses in Mokshagundam Mandal of Prakasam district.
Bapatla MLA Sri Rama Naidu attended the Neeru Meeru Programme works in Karamchedu of Prakasam district and participated with the farmers in cleaning of the lakes in the mandal.
