Vijayawada Police arrests 4 in connection with sellings of Human Organs
The Vijayawada Police arrested 4 people in connection with selling of Kidneys and other human organs. The police said that it seems these people are actually brokers and have links with Doctors and Nursing Homes. It is believed that these people sold organs to Chennai and Delhi based people.
The World Bank team that is visiting Andhra Pradesh went to Ranga Reddy district and monitored the activities there.
Mr. Mohd Jani - Convenor of All-India Minorities Forum announced that the state level Minorities Convention will be held in Guntur on June 1st and 2nd.
A Candle Light show on AIDS was held all over the state. The light show is to mark the World AIDS Candle Light Day. A Special month long AIDS campaign was initiated by Andhra Pradesh State AIDS Control Society.
