TDP have to step down - says CLP
CLP Leader Sri Rajasekhar Reddy said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has to step down when his Government failed to meet the needs of the farmers and provide them with the minimal price for their produce in the state. He said it is not good on their part to say that the Opposition has failed in regard to this. He refereed that when the Tamil Nadu and Punjab Governments have come to the resuce of their farmers, why not the state government learn from them.
MLA of Sirisilla Constituency Sri. Paparao entered into Telangana Rastra Samithi. He met TRS-founder Chandrasekhara Rao and conveyed to him that he is supporting TRS for the cause of the Telangana area.Sri Chandrasekhara Rao said that the Simhagarjana Programme will be held even at a later date if required if Government does not allow them to do on 18th of the month.
Sri Bardan feared that there will be a problem if the Government approves private dealers entry in purchases of ammunition for the country. He said that it is not right on the part of the Center to allow such changes when almost 32 Defence Establishments has almost stopped their work. He said that CPI does not stand for division of Andhra Pradesh into smaller states. He said that Andhra Pradesh is an integrated-Telugu Speaking state and that there is no need. He said that the failure of politicians over the years to come to the development of the Telangana area.
Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation Standing Committee meeting met today and approved purchase of Equipment worth 35.62 lakhs to Public Health Department.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that the new Educational policy will be enforced in few days. He said that about 7,351 new Primary schools will be setup while 4352 schools will be upgraded.
Secretary, Board of Intermediate Education Sri M Srinuvasa Rao requested the parents to carefully check to the affiliation of the college to the board before admitting their children in various Junior Colleges in the state.
Counterfeit Current to a tune of Rs.4,400 in 100's denomination were recovered by the Central Crime Station of Anantapur and busted a racket. About 10 people were held.
