President of Colombia, Mr. Arango spoke at the CII Meeting held at Hyderabad. He said that Andhra Pradesh is a prime area for Investment in various areas including IT and Tourism areas. Mr. Arango later visited the Hi Tech City at Madhapur. He is welcomed by Ajay Sahani. He viewed a presentation. Mr. Ajay said that Andhra Pradesh has seen 100 % development in IT related issues during the recent areas. Mr. Arango later visited the Oracle Center located at 4th Phase of the Hitech City. Later the Colombian President had a discussion with the Chief Minister at the CII-lunchon.
One person died while 39 more are serious ill due to Gastroenteritis in Anantapur District. It is delivered that taking contaminated water was the result of this serious illness. A Team of officials of the Dept. of Health and the Municipal Administration Departments visited the V town area of the district which is the most affected area of the town.
A leopard was killed and skinned by unidentified persons near Kondannapalli village in Karimnagar District. The Forest Dept. officials are into enquiry onto the incident.
EAMCET 2001 Applications will be sold at all Post Offices and at the JNTU, Masab Tank on Mar 10, 11 and 18th despite the days falling on Holidays. Candidates can also submit their filled in application forms during these days between 10 AM and 5 PM.
