A fire accident broke in a Plastic Mill in LB Nagar in Hyderabad. Material worth lakhs of rupees was lost due to Short Circuit in power supply.
Five tourists died on the spot while 32 others were injured in a major Bus accident at Nizamabad District. The private bus was travelling from Tuljaipur to Vijayawada when it was overturned.
Three students of Nalanda, Guntur drowned when they were taking bath in the Krishna River. The incident occured when the students went to the Krishna river after having Darshan of Lordess Kanakadurga.
Ten Naxals belonging to CPUSI, Veeranna Group surrendered before the Eluru Police.
Former Chief Secretary to the Government of Andhra Pradesh Mr. N. Bhagawandas died in Chennai. He is survived by four daughters. He was the founder president of the AP State Academy of Photography.
The CPI(ML) Janashakthi group naxalites have beaten to death a villager in Thirumalapur village of Kodimyal mandal branding him as police informer.
Four died in a Jeep-Oil Tanker colllision at the Nallajarla mandal of West Godavari district.
