BJP Leader Sri B Dattratreya said that the state BJP unit will be conducting rallies all round the state to explain the people about the facts behind the Tehelka tapes.
Telugu Feature film Nuvve Kaavali was selected for the National Level Award in Telugu Category. The film was a story about two friends of opposite sex who felt they were in love with each other. The film was starred by Tarun and Ritcha. Sri. Vijaya Bhaskar directed the movie while Sri. Ramoji Rao was the producer.
Congress Members raised the question on what steps was the Government taking to come to the rescue of wavers of the state. They argued that APCO has been doing nothing. Minister for Handlooms & Textiles, Sri. P.Bhumanna tried to explain that the state's weavers position was far more better than the neighboring states. Even the Chief Minister also tried to convince the members. Having not satisfied with their response, the Congress members staged a walked out.
India's prestigious Satellite carrier GSLV is all set to be launched tomorrow at about 3:47 PM from Sri Hari Kota in Nellore District.

Two people ( a Gangman and a Contract Worker ) died on the spot when the Visakhapatnam - Palasa Passenger train ran over them near Kothavalasa.
The Visakhapatnam Port Trust made a record by handling the highest ever annual cargo throughput of 44 million tonnes surpasing the previous best of 39.51 million tonnes.
A Woman Naxal belonging to the Peoples War Group was arrested after an encounter between the Police Forces and the Naxals at Nizamabad District.
A Minor Earthquake shook parts of Vizianagaram. The Earthquake was more visible in Bobbili area where cracks occurred to some houses and buildings.
