The Assembly passed two bills, the bill for Redesigning of lecturers and readers as Asst. Readers and Associate Professors for Career Advancement scheme and other purposes. The second bill was to make District Gazette Notification compulsory for pattadar passbooks for enabling their owners to draw crop loans.
YSR asked to stop the auction of the property of the farmers till the One time settlement is complete. Minister Sri Chikkala Ramakrishnudu said that it can't wait till then.
Minister for Sports Sri T Seetaram felicitated Tennis Star Mr. Mahesh Bhupati for his achievements for the sport of Tennis. The program was organised by Sports Authority of India. Mr. Bhupati said that interest on sports should start right from the childhood may it be Cricket or Tennis or Badminton.

The police immediately rushed to the stop and brought the condition into control. 3 people identified to be related with the case were arrested.
Trouble also broke out in Old City of Hyderabad when a group of people threw stones at the police outside the Macca Masjid and raised slogans against the police for their failure in arresting the people involved into the burning of Muslim scriptures.
Two Naxals belonging to the CPI-ML Janashakti Group were killed in a fierce encounter between the Naxals and the Police Forces in Karimnagar District. Among those who were dead is the Dalam Leader and District Committee Member of the CPI-ML Group.
A Five member gang robbed the Secunderabad bound Gowthami Express near Sithampet Railway Station.
