Discussions on various cases on CLP Leader Sri Y S Rajasekhar Reddy and his sons involvement in suit-case bombs comes to Assembly. YSR also asked the Government to hand over the case to CBI and if his son is found guilty, he may be hanged to death.
Congress Member Sri C R Naresh Reddy and BJP Member Sri Indrasena Reddy asked the Government regard any modifications to the Betting Tax that is currently in rule in the state. State Minister for Commercial Taxes J. Lakshmi Padmavathi said that the taxes are already at the least levels and there is no such idea with the Government.
Minister of State for Housing Sri. A.Prabhakar Reddy said that the Government will be constructing 6 Lakh Houses in the state during the year.
National Level AIKS were held at Indrajit Gupta Grounds Khammam. Former Prime Minister Sri Chandra Sekhar and Sri S Sudhakar Reddy spoke at the meet.
A Gang selling new born babies was arrested by Ranga Reddy Police. They were caught red handed when they were trying to sell three babies.
The 7008 Godavari Express from Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam was looted by about 20 dacoits as soon as it crossed the Warangal Station. The GRP Police said that the same group also attempted to loot the Bangalore Ganga-Cauvery express also.
Government sources said that this years Mahila Janmabhoomi program will begin from May 1st.
