Chief Minister inaugurated Second Complex at Tirumala
Chief Minister Sri Chandrababu Naidu took part in various Janmabhoomi Programme in Chitoor district. He talked to the press in Tirupati. He commented that the Congress have made it a point for asking for separate Telangana and Rayalaseema states. He commented that Militant group have made it an aim to kill the leaders in power and that it will become difficult to implement development programmes in these type of circumstances. He inaugurated the Second Queue complex at Tirumala. This queue complex has capacity of 15,000 devotees. Ministers Sri Siva Pasada Rao, Sri D Sivarama Raju were present at the inauguration function.CM also released 4 cassettes on Lord Venkateswara.
Home Minister Sri Devendar Goud inaugurated training programme to Urdu Reports at Hyderabad. The programme was jointly conducted by Press Academy and Working Journalists Forum. President Sri Potluri Venkateswarulu was present at the inaugural meet.
Airports Authority of India decided to modernise airports in Andhra Pradesh. This was stated by AII Member Sri Ramalingam. He said that about Rs. 50 Crores will be allocated towards this. Special facilities will be setup at Hyderabad Airport for International Tourists.
The Integrated Common Entrance Test 2001 - the Examinations conducted for Entrance to MBA & MCA Programmes in various colleges in the state were announced. The total qualified students rate is 97.62 %
