The Telugu Film Industry paid homage to the sudden demise of Director and Comedian Sri Jandhayala. Ministers Sri Bandaru Dattatreaya and Sri Chilakam Ramachandrareddy paid homage to him in Hyderabad.

Dr. Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad, Member of Rajya Sabha commissioned the works for the Augmentation of Water Supply Scheme for the Andhra University North Campus in Visakhapatnam. The project amount of Rs. 11.38 Lakhs was allocated from the MPLADS Scheme.

The State Telugu Desam Party and BJP started talks on their roles in Panchayat Elections. Leaders of both the parties including TDP Party President Sri. Chandrababu Naidu, Mr. Lal Jan Basha, Mr. Bandaru Dattatreya, Mr. Ashok Gajapathiraju and others participated.

The HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company has expanded its services to Andhra Pradesh by launching its new Group insurance scheme in Hyderabad. In a press meet, the management said that they are interested in launching a new scheme for the people living in slum areas. They said that they will launch the Pension policy by the end of year.

Visakhapatnam port got 15 tonn electrical cranes which are the first of its kind in the country. The Cranes can discharge 2200 tons . Union Minister Arun Jaitley inaugurated the cranes. Jaitley also inagurated the science and technology college in Bheemili. V naidu is also present
