Union Minister for IT Sri Pramod Mahajan inaugurated National seminar on Information Technology

Union Information Technology Minister Sri Pramod Mahajan inaugurated a 3-day seminar national seminar on Information Technology in Hyderabad. He said that Information Technology is not a technology for the white colored people and that it is successful only when it is extended to the Villages. Pramod Mahajan said that Media Labs Asia's second branch will be setup in Chennai at a cost of Rs. 5000 Crores. He said that the Central Government share out of this is Rs. 1000 Crores.

Chief Minister Sri Chandrababu Naidu took part in the Janmabhoomi Programme in Prakasam and Cuddapah Districts. He asked the people to take Grama Sabha as a forum to discuss the problems in the state and not just an activity.
Home Minister Sri Devendar Goud attended the second day programmes of Janmabhoomi Programme in Rangareddy district. However women asked him to see that the number of Liquor shops is not increased. The Minister promised that he will be looking into the issue and do the necessary.
Former MLA Sri Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu said that the feeling of seperate Telangana or smaller states was triggered during the Telugu Desam Part rule in the state. He said that the decrease in water resources has brought about the feeling in the people. He asked the chief Minister to give his post to any other person other than to Home Minister.
Police switched to Lathi Charge when the Grama Sabha at Visakhapatnam 2nd Ward tuned violent. Demonstrators and women blocked the authorities from moving out. One Women Contestable was inured and was rushed to King George Hospital.
Telangana Rasthra Samithi Leader Sri K Chandrasekhar Rao was warmly welcomed at various venues in Rangareddy and Nalgonda districts as a part of the Jaithra Yatra. He visited areas including Dilsukhnagar, Hayathnagar, Batasingaram, Kothagudem, Bhudan Pochampalli, Choutauppal, Chityala and many other venues.
Noted Film Maker and Cartoonist, Bapu was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by Chief Minister of Karnataka Mr. S M Krishna in a recent function held in Bangalore.
