The Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu, launched the election campaign at Warangal for the TDP for the coming Panchayat polls and announced that the victory rally of the TDP at the end of the elections will also be held here. Mr. Naidu asserted that the TDP will wrest the Zilla Parishads of all districts in the State and its candidates will win as ZPTC members and MPP presidents everywhere.
The Union Minister for Steel, Mr. Braja Kishore Tripathy, has promised all assistance from the Government for the expansion and diversification of all the profit-making National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) and Manganese Ore India Limited (MOIL) in Hyderabad.
The Chief Minister, Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu, laid the foundation stone for a lift irrigation project to use 50 tmcft of Godavari waters to irrigate 5 lakh acres in four backward districts of Telangana region. The CM with nine other ministers belonging to these districts and irrigation officials flew in here by four helicopters and performed bhoomi puja at the designated muhurtam.

He inaugurated a Computerised Branch of Vysya Bank today. Vysya Bank said that it is switching to efficient Information Technology system and is looking for vast expansion. Vysya Bank has a network of 418 branches across the country of which 160 are located in Andhra Pradesh. Vysya Bank has put a target 30000 Crores Rupees business for the next 5 years by implementing Information Technology and Online processing of 200 branches by the end of the year.
BJP Executive Meet began at Visakhapatnam today. Sri Bangaru Lakshman and other senior members attended today's meet. Senior Leader Sri Narendra came back to Hyderabad all of a surprise after BJP made it clearly that they have no separate plan for Telangana Statehood.
Minister for Labour and Employment, Sri C Krishna Yadav made a surprise visit to various Municipality areas in the Hyderabad. He made a visit to Yerramanchili and examined the programmes being conducted there.
