9 members of a family dies when a wall collapses in Hyderabad
9 members of a family died when a wall collapsed all of a sudden in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Heavy rains were sweeping many parts of the state. Authorities at the Regional Meteorological Center said that moderate to heavy rains are expected to sweep many parts of the state. Home Minister promised for compensation to the members of the family who lost their desired ones. Home Minister Sri Devendar Goud went to the site and said that the poor construction of the wall was the reason for the death of the people and that due action will be taken. He said that Exgretia will be given at Rs. 1 Lakh for the family members of each person and that the family members who lost their children will be compensated from the CM Relief Fund.
Chief Minister Sri Chandrababu Naidu visits Visakhapatnam and took part in Women Meet at Port Stadium. He earlier discussed with DWACRA Group members of Coastal Andhra Pradesh and promised support form the Government side to market them. Speaking at the meet, he said that the Government is making all possible steps for the upliftment of the women in the society.
Panchayat Department released the statistics and reservations of various Panchayat & ZP's for the upcoming elections. The statistics and allocations were released by Dr. Chellappa - Commissioner for Panchayat Raj in Hyderabad.

Naxals of the Peoples War Group killed one person suspecting him to be a Police informer. The incident occurred when two naxals entered into the house of Mr. Kotte Parvathulu and shot him dead.
Four Naxals - two belonging to the PWG and two from Janashakto Group surrendered before the Medak Police.
Former Minister Mr. Balaram Jakkar released a book on the important events of Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri Jalagam Vengal Rao in Hyderabad. The first copy of the book entitled Velugu Jaada Vengala Rao Jalagam was presented to Union Minister of State for Home Mr. Vidhya Sagar Rao.
