15th Phase of Janmabhoomi Programme begins

Chief Minister Sri Chandra Babu Naidu inaugurated the 15th Phase of Janmabhoomi Programme in Adilabad district today. He also announced the Janani Programme in which women will be given Rs. 500 for undergoing Sterilization Operation and extending the Child benefit scheme of the child in the family. Minister Sri Vadde Shobhanadreeswara Rao and other ministers launched the programmes in various parts of the state.

TRS Warns Government

President of Telangana Rastra Samithi Mr. T Chandrasekhar Rao warned the Government against taking of up the Pulichintala and Polavaram projects. He made the issue as the main theme of his speeches made during his Jaithra Yatra programme tour.

Government Doctors in the state started their agitation programme to separate Medical services from the Education sector and asking for separate wages for the Medical professionals.
Ministers Sri Krishna Yadava and Vijayarama Rao launched the Janmabhoomi programme in Hyderabad. They attend Basthi Sabha in various regions in Hyderabad.
Home Minister Sri Devendar Goud launched the Janmabhoomi programme in Ranga Reddy district. He inaugurated various School Buildings, DWACRA Group Buildings, Roads connecting to various routes and Gas connections to women in the distict. Some women brought to the notice of the minister that they did not receive funds under the DWACRA funds.
CLP Leader Sri Rajasekhar Reddy and Cuddapah Congress MP Mr YS Vivekananda Reddy raised questions on various questions at Grama Sabhas held in Ravulakinda and Sunkesula villages in Cuddapah district.
Four people died when an overhead water tank collapsed at an inauguration function in Tadikonda Mandal of Guntur District.

CPI observed today as Demands Day asking for separate state for Telangana. They said that the negligence of Telugu Desam and Congress parties has taken the Telangana area to darkness. They requested for the institution of 610 GO, Completion of pending projects and allocation of Rs. 5000 Crores Special Package to the area.
Telugu Desam Party decided to hold a meeting on the problems faced by the people Telangana region in Karimnagar in June. The date for the meeting has not been finalised by is expected to be held on 11th or 17th. TDP Party President Sri Chandrababu Naidu has held a Tele-Conference with the party members and have decided to go ahead with the same.
The Quota for January , February and March under the Annapoorna Pathakam was released. Under this pathakam, about 93,200 people will get 30 Kgs of rice for free.
CB-CID has arrested two persons in connection with the Child-Adoption and selling case. These people were believed to be mediators in obtaining children from Action for Social Development Home and selling them to parents.
Former MLA Mr. Govardhan Reddy was arrested by the police at Bapatla. A case was registered on him saying he attacked the police with weaponry.
