Election campaigning to come to an end tomorrow
The Election campaigning in 11 districts came to an end tomorrow with only 48 hours left for the Elections to be held. The districts includes Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam, West Godavari, Guntur, Nellore, Chitoor, Mahaboobnagar, Rangareddy, Nizamabad, Warangal, Khammam. About 2 crores voters will be electing 520 ZPTC and 7000 MPTC in the area. The Congress, Telugu Desam Party and Bharateeya Janata Party were the main rivals in the areas though Left Parties and TRS also in foray in some areas.

Engineering College for Paderu - says Sri NaiduTDP Party President Sri Chandrababu Naidu campaigned in Visakhapatnam and West Godavari today for the local TDP candidates. Speaking at a public meeting, Sri Naidu said that electing a TDP candidate in their place will allow the TDP led state Government to easily interact and get funds for the center. He promised that Engineering College will be setup in Paderu agency area. Speaking at a campaign at Warangal, he said that Swarnandra was only possible by the TDP Party. Minister Mrs. M Manikumari, Visakhapatnam MP Sri MVVS Murthy also participated in the meeting.

Congress Legislative Party Leader Sri YS Rajasekhar Reddy reiterated the Congress policy to provide free power to the farmer sector in the state. He said that on an average each farmer will be paying Rs. 10,000 per motor set towards power.

All arrangements for elections completedKurnool District Collector said that all steps were taken to make sure that the elections in the district were done peacefully. Kurnool DSP said some anti-social elements who are expected to make violence will be taken into control.

Vizianagaram Police arrested one person involved in inter-state crimes in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. Rs. 5 Crores worth articles including Jewellery and TV sets were recovered from him.

5 coolies travelling in a Lorry died while 3 more survived with injuries in a Road accident in Nellore. The accident occurred when the lorry lost control due to overspeed. While 4 died on the spot, another died at the hospital.

One boy died on the spot when a wall collapsed all of a sudden in Hyderabad. This is the second incident in one month time in Hyderabad that such an accident is occuring. Heavy rains and winds were sweeping many parts of the state.
