People should not believe in false promises - suggests CM
TDP Party President Sri Chandrababu Naidu suggested that people should not believe in people who advocate for separate Telangana state. He said that Congress has been cheating people with false promises such as free power which is quiet impossible in Andhra Pradesh context. He participated in TDP Party campaign in Chitoor District.
The State BJP Unit felt that the Telangana Rastra Samithi is not a problem for winning seats in the upcoming Panchayat and Zillaparishad elections Telangana region.
SEC relaxes rules
The State Election Commission has announced relaxation of the restrictions on use of loudspeakers, regulation at public meetings and processions for the current panchayat Elections beyond 10 PM.
Huge Dumps unearthed
The Medak Police have unearthed two huge dumps containing ammunition of the Jana Shaki Group Naxals. The dump contained 12 custom made weapons, 8 mm rifles, 3 springfiled rifles, 2 carbines, 1 sten gun among others.
BCET Results announced
The Results of BCET 2001 - the Entrance exam for BCA Programme in Andhra and Nagarjuna Universities was announced today. The results were announced by Prof. C V Raghavulu at the Andhra University today. Ms. A Keethi, Mr. Ch Naryana Kiran, Mr. Pavan Kumar were toppers in the exam. The Counseling will be held at Vijayawada and Eluru during last week of this month.
