CM campaigns in Coastal Andhra
Chief Minister Sri N Chandrababu Naidu arrived in the city to campaign to the candidates for the Coastal Andhra Pradesh. He was warmly welcomed by MP Sri MVVS Murthy, MLP's Mrs. P Varalakshmi, Sri K Hari Babu, Minister Mrs. Manikummari, Senior leaders Mr. SA Rehman, Mr. Gangi Reddy and Mr. Venkatarao. Speaking at a meeting Achutapuram at, he blamed the Congress for cheating people with its improper and unfeasible schemes. He spoke at a public meeting in Nandigam in Srikakulam. He said that Congress even does not have enough competent members in many areas in the state. He questioned that why it has not introduced the free power system in Congress led Governments in various other states in the country.
YSR campaigns in Visakhapatnam
CLP Leader Sri YS Rajasekhar Reddy visited Visakhapatnam as a part of the Congress Campaign in Visakhapatnam. He was warmly welcomed by Senior Congress party members and Congress activists at the Airport. He later campaigned at Kasimkota and Paravada. He said that Congress will not allow for the Privatisation of BHPV. He said that this is the time for the people to reply for the reforms
Members of the Congress who filed nominations for ZPTC Member met today and discussed on various issues at the Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan in Guntur.
APCC President, M Satyanarayana Rao said that Congress will stick to the free power scheme. He said that they are ready for a public discussion on how it is possible when the Chief Minister is ready to join in the talk. He took part in an Election campaign in Bhimavaram in West Godavari district.
Free Power is indeed possible
Sri Chandrasekhar Rao of TRS said that it is indeed possible for distribution of free power in the state. He denied TDP's comment that TRS has links with Peoples War Group. He was addressed a public meeting in Hyderabad. He said that Telugu Desam Party is switching to faction groups and police to win in some ZPTC constituencies in the state.
Congress members prevented to file nominations - says Rosayya
Andhra Pradesh Congress Spokesman Sri Rosayya said that some Congress members who went to file nominations were being blocked and 'terrorised and prevented to file nominations'. He said that he got some cases from Congress members and said that he will take the this issue to the Election Commission.
