Central Agriculture Task Force mets Agriculture officals

Central Agriculture Task Force met with the state officals today at Hyderabd, The Meet was presided by CART Chairman Sri Saradh Joshi. The State Agriculture Minister Sri Vadde Sobhanadreswara Rao, and other officials of the Agriculture Department took part in the meet

2nd Phase of Dr. Marichinna Reddy Human Resource Development Center begins

Chief Minister Sri Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the 2nd Phase of Dr. Marichinna Reddy Human Resource Development Center in Hyderabad today. The new facilities includes Yoga, Reading Room besides other. Home Minister Sri Devendar Goud was also present at the meet. The Organisation released a Special CDROM on Citizen Chapter at the programme. Speaking at the a function, Chief Minister said that it is very important that the staff has to constantly upgrade their skills. He said that the state Government is trying its level best to make efficient use of Ku-Band and that the Government will go for C-Band of private channels if required and see that the Government educational programmes will be aired from 1st of next month beginning from Agriculture section.

Minister for Panchayat Raj affairs Sri Pocharam Subba Rao said that Government of Andhra Pradesh has released Rs. 22 Crores for use in drought hit areas in the state.

CPM Leader Sri BV Raghavulu said that Government has allocated money for the drought which were actually the original money to be allocated to the districts. CPM members visited many areas in Mahaboobnagar and interacted with farmers in the district. He said that the outcome of his tour will be released on 30th in the All-Party meeting.

TRS President Sri Chandra Sekhara Rao said that he is confident that TRS will win the Chairman seat in Karimnagar.

APSRTC decides to drop its ticket bus prices in Vijayawada region. The charge is dropped by at least Rs. 0.5 per ticket.

More Engineering Colleges allocated in the state

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has cleared 6 more new Engineering colleges in the state with 180 seats in each college thus creating 1080 new seats. The colleges were

  • Nalanda Institute of Engineering and Technology, Sattenapalle, Guntur
  • Srivasavi Engineering College, Tadepallegudem, West Godavari
  • Al Ameer College of Engineering & Information Technology, Gudilova, Visakhapatnam
  • Jyothi Engineering College, Sirisilla, Karimnagar
  • Nizam Institute of Engineering & Technology, Deshmukh, Nalgonda
  • Aditya Engineering College, Peddapuram, East Godavari
With the the total colleges in the state is 163 with 43881 seats in total.

The State Congress Party asked the State Election Commission to postpone the ZP Election. PCC Official Mr. K Kesawara Rao met the Election Commissioner and submitted a request letter in this effect.

Sri Murahari Reddy was re-elected as the Managing Director of Road Development Corporation.
