CII Summit begins at Hyderabad
Vice President of India Sri Krishna Kanth inaugurated CII Partnership Summit in Hyderabad. In his inaugural address, Sri Krishna Kanth said that it is very bad that despite development in Software, poverty & illiteracy still is a problem in the country. Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri Chandrababu Naidu said that the State Government is thinking of simplying the system of registration of companies and will be working on to promote for the development of IT Industry. He said that the Government is considering decrease by 50 % and exemptions to a large extent on stamp duties and registration procedures. He later inaugurated the Industrial Exhibition at Madhapur. The Government of Andhra Pradesh is expecting to signup MOU's with various companies during the meet. Hundreds of delegates from round the world are participating in this 3 Day meet.
The Hyderabad Software Exporters Association decided to get a IT Techno Campus near Cyberabad. This Campus will be setup in 100-acre technology park and is expected to bring over 2000 crores turnover and generating 16,000 new jobs.
One boy was injured when a Bom Blasted near Banjara Colony in Kurnool district.
Over 4000 detonators were found in two bags in a Railway wagon near Palasa. The Railway police registered a case and are investigating.
