Pulse Polio Immunisation program begins all over the state. Government has setup hundreds of health camps all over the state to throw Polio from the state.

PCC Presidenbt Sri Satyanarayana said that the upcoming elections in the state will reflect the peoples acceptance of the TDP led Government.

Chief Minister Sri Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the Global Leadership 2020 meet at Hyderabad. He said that the recently concluded CII Summit has enabled Andhra Pradesh to get about Rs. 70,000 crores projects and that the state Government has been working on to provide the basic infrastructure need for the execution of the projects.

The 54th National Men & Women Weight Lifting Championships concluded at Visakhapatnam. On the final day, Mr Dulbinder Singh of the Police won the Gold lifting 105+ Kgs. The overall championship went to the Police Team. Sri Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad presented the rolling shield to the team.
