The Silver jubilee Celebrations of ITPI ( Town & Country Planning) began at Hyderabad today. Town planners from round the country are meeting to discuss the various efficient methods in building better plans for the future. Experts feel that the use of technologies such as Information Technology, GIS and Remote Sensing are of great use to them. They are also discussing on effective implementation of Master plans and planning in disaster prone areas of the country.

Cheif Minister Sri Chandrababu held a meeting with various Ministers and District administrators. He asked the Ministers to submit monthly reports of various Departments and asked to focus more on revenue generating areas such as Revenue, Forests, Mines and asked them to see that taxes are being collected effectively.

Governor Sri Rangarajan congratulated the Andhra delegation of NCC Cadets. He praised them for extending their services in community development.

Among those plants where the production stopped are premier Power centers including Ramagundam and Kothagudem Power plants.
