A Home Needs shop in Mahaboobnagar district cheated thousands of people with their announcement of picking up of any item in their shop for half price attracted great crowds who paid the owner to a tune of Lakhs of rupees and later turned their boards.

An Explosion occurred in Seshmahal House near Roja Talkies at Karimnagar today at 3 PM. The Explosion occurred when Aluminium parts were being melted. 7 people including 5 children who were playing in the nearby ground died while 15 were hurt in the incident.

Nizamabad SI Hanumantha Reddy died while 2 constables were injured during an encounter between the Naxals and the Police in Mahaboobnagar. The incident took place at about 3 PM.

The Nalgonda Police has arrested one person in regard to the recent murder of Azam Ali. A resident of Yadagirigutta Mr. Purushottam admitted of the murder during a interogation.

5 labourer people were killed and 20 more injured when a lorry overturned at Bommalatapalli in Anantapur.
