Home Minister said that a Bill will be introduced in the Assembly in regard to Development of roads and control of accidents in the state.

BJP Member and MLA Mr. N. Indrasena Reddy said that the Government has been misusing E-Governance system. He said that it is wrong to take more loans when the state has already has already taken more loans.

State Minister for Tourism Mr. E Peddi Reddy said that the Government is keen in developing 13 major Buddhist sites in the state. He said that an MoU was signed at the recent CII Summit on the development of these sites into International Buddhist Circuit. The places includes Nagarjunasagar / Nagarjunakonda, Amaravathi, Slihundam, Bavikonda, Sankaram, Chandavaram, Adurru, Guntupally, Ghantasala, Jaggiahpeta, Dhulikatta, Ramatirtham and Bhattiprolu.

4 Naxals including a women Naxal surrendered before the Warangal police. Among those who were surrendered were the Bhupalla Palli and Pratipatnam Dala Commanders.

The Hyderabad Commissionerate of Central Excise celebrated the Central Excise Day today. Minister Smt. A Uma Bharaty took part in the meeting and said that it received Rs. 4 Crores as taxes last year. Sri. S S Koshla took part a the meeting.

Foundation Stone for the Court Building at Gajuwaka,Visakhapatnam was laid today by Chief Justice of High Court Sri. Satyabrath Sinha. He said that Staff Residential Quarters will also be build soon. He said that workshops will be held often in the coming days to bridge the gap between the Bar and the Bench. Computerisation of Courts will be completed shortly for easy and quick completion of cases. The District Bar Association President was also present.

Another 2nd Intermediate student commited sucide today. Mr. K Kistappa of Govt. Junior College ( New Town ) of Anantapur consumed pesticide and commited sucide after he failed his 1st Year examination in which his result was found to be with-held.
