Chief Minister Sri Chandarababu Naidu released four strategy papers today. The stratergic papers included Governments vision on Education & Medicine Departments aswell.

Chief Minister Sir Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated a meet on Tourism Development in Hyderabad. The Meet entitled "Tourism in 2002 - A Development Approach " began today. CM requested the Prime Minister to put up a "Open Sky Policy" to enable Indian Airlines and Air India to put up return flights from Hyderabad to various International destinations. He said that the Government is working on at its best to improve Basic Infrastructure in the state and promote Tourism & Transport facilities in the state. He also said that special discounts in taxes will be provided to entrepreneurs who are keep in development of various Tourism projects in the state. He critisised the former governments for their inability to take up this prospective and revenue generating field. Mr. E Peddireddy, Mrs. Chandana Khan also spoke at the meet.

Sri Y S Rajesekhar has filed a fresh petition at the High Court against various illegal activities being done by Sri. Chandrababu Naidu.

An International Seminar on Remote Sensing using GIS/GIP began at Hyderabad. More than 200 Experts from various countries in the world who are in the field of Remote sensing were attending to the meet. The Seminar was being organised by Jawharlal Nehru Technology University and concludes on 5 Feb.

The state unit of BJP send its Relief Material collected in various parts of the state and Ambulances to Gujarat. BJP Spokesman Mr. Kishore Reddy said that more funds and essential material will be sent soon.

The Board of Intermediate Studies of Andhra Pradesh has decided to quit to the jumbling system for Intermediate Practical Exams for this year.

Adtl. DGP Sri Kumavat has said that the tents and other material being sent for the Khumb Mela will be diverted to the needy at Gujarat.

Army Recruitment tests will be held between Feb 8 and Feb 14 at Kakinada.

Olympic Medalist Mrs. Karnam Malleswari said that she will be attending any program to contribute funds to held the Gujarat earthquake victims. She took part in a program at Chitoor today.
