Chief Minister Sir Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated a meet on Tourism Development in Hyderabad. The Meet entitled "Tourism in 2002 - A Development Approach " began today. CM requested the Prime Minister to put up a "Open Sky Policy" to enable Indian Airlines and Air India to put up return flights from Hyderabad to various International destinations. He said that the Government is working on at its best to improve Basic Infrastructure in the state and promote Tourism & Transport facilities in the state. He also said that special discounts in taxes will be provided to entrepreneurs who are keep in development of various Tourism projects in the state. He critisised the former governments for their inability to take up this prospective and revenue generating field. Mr. E Peddireddy, Mrs. Chandana Khan also spoke at the meet.
