Agriculture output to be low during Kharif Season
Minister for Agriculture Sri Vadde Sobanadreswara Rao said that the Agriculture output will dramatically decrease with the drought conditions in the state. He estimated that the production targets for Kharif seasons for the next year are put at 169 Lakh Tonnes. He said that Scientific methods including Soil Testing will be done.

Teja to broadcast Ruthu Mitra
Chief Minister Sri Chandrababu Naidu said that Teja Television will be broadcasting a 1 hr programme between 6 AM to 7 AM on its television for 90 days to give suggestions to the farmer sector. He requested the farmers in the state to make use of the programme and interact with the experts to get their doubts clarified. He said that this special programme was being aired to fight against the severe drought condition in the state.
Rhino dies at Zoo
A Rhino died at the Nehru Zoological Part today. The Rhino named Srinuvasa Raju was born on May 13, 1981 and is aged 20 years. Zoo Authorities said that Rhions life span will be around 20 - 25 years and that the death of Raju was a natural one.
