The list of the APCC Executive Committee was released today. APCC President Sri P Satyanarayana said that the new committee is of the right combination. He also said that the District Committee member list will be released shortly.

TDP Members of Telangana met the TDP President Sri Chandrababu Naidu to analyse the recent elections and the outcome. They felt that TDP lost its control in many areas due to the TRS effect except Adilabad.
One persons hangs himself in Excise Jail
One person died by hanging himself in the Excise Jail in S.Kota of Vijayanagaram. Adivasi People staged a protest against the police whose action led to the death of the person. They also blocked the road for hours together disrupting the traffic. Minister for Excise Affairs, Mr. Tummala Nageswara Rao promised that strict action will be taken on any one who is involved in the action against the person.
Office XP Telugu Edition launched
Microsoft's flagship Office Suite - MS Office XP Telugu Edition was released at a function at Hyderabad. The launch was made by Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri Chandrababu Naidu. Microsoft India localization program manager Mr. Rajiv Gupta was also present.
Medical Counselling begins
The Counseling sessions for admissions to various Medical Colleges in the state began at Hyderabad after a 2 hour delay due to failure of Computer systems. About 500 students attended the counseling session on the first day.
Meanwhile, about 775 students joined in Engineering Colleges in the state in the EAMCET Counseling for Engineering in the state.
