Police Manual needs modification - says Home Minister
Home Minister Sri Devendar Goud said that the Government is looking to modify the Police Manual according to the day-to-day requirements. He said that it would not be possible to bring this issue in the current assembly sessions because it requires thorough discussion. He said that DIG was sent to Srikakulam to access the situation and the need for the Lathi Charge. He spoke with the Press in Visakhapatnam today. He said that banning Peoples War Group Naxals group was left with the Central Government only.

No raids in drought hit areas - says Minister
Minister for Power, Sri Kottapalli Subbaraidu said that the Vigilence Department has temporarily stopped raids in Drought hit areas in the state including Warangal.
