Home Minster Sri Devendar Goud said that success comes only when they explain the people on payment of dues to the Government and make sure that they pay various taxes. He spoke at the TDP Mayors and Chariman's meet at NTR Trust Bhawan in Hyderabad. Chief Minister Sri Chandrababu Naidu said that those who have misutilised or failed to do their duties property have to step down. He said that if necessary, all Unnecessary Departments will be cancelled.
CM said that the Telugu Desam will surely lead the way for the most efficient and cheaper power in the state in 2 years time. He said people will see the results and vote for TDP. He also said that he will make surprise visits to Municipalities in the state.
State Minister for Information and Public Relations Sri. M Sivaprasad made surprise visit in various parts of Hyderabad to check Water problems and study the various problems being faced by the people and make activities accordingly to solve them.
Director General of Police Sri H J Dora said that all Police Stations in the state will be provided with permanent buildings along with advanced ammunition and communication facilities. He said that the Police Department has allocated Rs. 4 Crores for the next 5 years for the development activities.
TDP Parliamentary Leader Sri Yerram Naidu said that the party will make clear in regard to receiving of Party Funds by its party. He said that new legal entries if required will be amended. He spoke at a press conference in Vijayawada.
CLP Leader Sri Y S Rejasekhar Reddy said that the State Government has been increasing taxes to a tune of 16 - 18 % as against to other states who have crossed 2 - 3 % when it comes to taxing its people. He said that not much has been done even though the Government has cut funds to some of the Departments
Central Minister for Home affairs Sri Vidyasagar Rao visited the homes of victims of the Sirisilla Powerloom Units of Karimnagar who have recently committed suicide.
Meanwhile, Senior congress leaders of the state including Sri M Satyanarayana Rao also visited the victims houses in Sircilla. He demanded that the Chief Minister also visit the victims houses and take immediate steps for the rescue of the Sircilla Power mill society.
The Secretary of Board of Intermediate, Dr M Srinuvasa Rao directed all Private College Management's not to accept resignations from Lecturer staff and make them be available for Spot Valuations.
A Major fire broke up at East Coast Jute Mills in Vizianagaram. Finished jute products to a tune of Rs. 5 Lakhs was destroyed.
6 Naxals of the Peoples War Group surrendered before the police in Anantapur District.
Visakhapatnam District Collector Sri JSV Prasad said that the District Administration has taken up a massive Water Conservation Program.
