Chief Minister Sri Chandra Babu Naidu held a Ministerial meeting in Hyderabad to discuss on the developments in the recent 'Child selling' incidents held in Hyderabad and Rangareddy District. Ministers Sri Devendar Goud and Sri Y Ramakrishnudu were present. Chief Minister said that a CB-CID Enquiry will be made into the inclident. CM later visited the Nilopher Hospital were the 19 children recently saved from being sold we taken admitted.
CPI (M) made it clear that it will not join hands with Congress Party in the state for the upcoming Panchayat Elections. They said that the strategy by Congress was unclear in both the center and at state.
Minister NMD Farroq said that the Government of Andhra Pradesh will be setting up a Regulatory Commission to control all Municipalities in the state. He said that the hike in water tax is inevitable. He also said that efforts are beign made to develop 53 towns in the state under HUDCO project.

Renowned Naxal Mrs. Degala Lakshmikantamma was murdered this morning in Guntur.
One person was killed while 4 others injured when a group of persons attacked them at Kukatpally police limits in Hyderabad. It is believed that the attack was the result of a land dispuit between two parties.
