Chief Minister Sri Chandrababu Naidu visited the Malkajgiri Municipality near Hyderabad and monitored the works being done by the Municipality at various lakes. He said that the State Government will be releasing funds to a tune of Rs. 106 Crores in the next 2 years time for the completion and development of Lakes and Water Reservoirs in the state. He asked the MLA's and MP's to work and monitor the development activities in their Municipalities.
A powerful detonator got accidentally exploded in a Saidapur Police station in Nellore District this morning. The police station building was completely damaged. Initial estimates says that the loss was estimated put at Rs. 4 Lakhs. Rifles and other Police weaponry were damaged. Station records, 7th Class exam papers were fully damaged. Surrounding buildings were damaged. The detonators which were procured last october were stored in the Stote room. The detonators blasted all of a suddent this morning at around 3:45 AM.
Chief Minister Sri Chandrababu Naidu attended the Jalayagnam programme of the State Government in Allagadda area in Kurnool district. He said that severe action will be taken on any one who misuses funds allocated for the program. He also inaugurated a Photo exhibition.
Minister for Endowments Sri. D.Sivarama Raju laid the foundation stone for Sri Malleswara Swami Temple in Guntur. He said that the State Government is spending Rs. 5.5 Crores towards development of Temples and other Heritage spots in the state.
Farmers staged a Ghorav when Minister Sri N Janardhan Reddy visited the Marketing Yard at Nalgonda. Minister promised that fair prices will be provided to them.
Mr. R Rajendra Sekhar of APIIC said that the State and Central Governments have decided to set up Special Economic Zone between Visakhapatnam - Kakinada

A Committee formed by 19 Agricultural Associations visited the Warangal Market Yard.
High Court Justice Sri. Chalamayya inaugurated the Property Building in Warangal
Airtel announced that it will be extending its area of coverage from the existing 43 towns to 60 towns in a years time. The company also said that it was working our to increase its customer base to 1 Lakh. An eCommerce Website of the company was inaugurated.
A Traffic & Driving awareness programme was organised in Ponnala at Medak District for the benefit of long distance lorry drivers at the National Highway.
GM Telephones of Hyderabad Telecom District Sri Suryasreeramulu said that WLL Phone will be made available to all subscribers who have opted for the facility soon. He spoke at a Press Conference organised at the Press Club of Hyderabad.
