Election for the AICC President goes peacefully at various parts of the state. Senior Congress leaders including Sri. Rajesekhar Reddy, Sri. Satyanarayana, Sri Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy casted their votes. All Congress voting members, except two who are outstation casted their votes to chosee their AICC President. Minister for Forests, Sri Ch. Ayyanapatrudu said that a sum of Rs. 5 Crores was allocated by the Central Govt. for Tree Plantations across the Coastal Andhra. Speaking at a meeting at Vizag Journalists Forum, he said that the amount will be spent for plantations from Itchapuram of Srikakulam to Nellore District. He said that a Training Center for Forest Officials will be set up at Hyderabad soon. Five People were taken into Custody in regard to the recent Fire Mishap at Rajahmundry. A Student studying at Vignan Cooperative Residential Junior College at Vadlamudi, Guntur committed suicide outside the college for failing to secure good marks in his second year Intermediate study. Four people were killed in a Road Accident at Bhadrachalam, Khammam when a lorry rammed a tree. TDP Enrollment program begins at Cuddapah. Activisits rallied all round the district and started convincing new members.
