Andhra Pradesh State Formation Day Celebrations begins all over the state. Special Programme held at Tank Bund. Cheif Minister Sri Chandrababu Naidu attended the parade. He said that every individual has to work positively for the development of that state. He also that the development activities and steps taken by the Government will be visible in a few days time. He said that a special programme for removal of poverty in 14 districts at a cost of Rs. 2000 crores will be started soon. He also said the the Government will be looking at strengthing and modernisation of the Police sector in the state. He distributed awards to Police & Forest Officials.

Congress MLA's and other Telengana Organisations bans AP Formation Day activities demanding for a separate state for Telengana region. Students of Osmania University & Telegana Students Forum also observed today as 'Telengana Vidroha Dinam'.

Singapore Airlines has setup a Special Flight for the family members from India who were in the flight that crashed yesterday. The flight is expected to leave this evening.

Meanwhile, sources say that Sri Vara Prasad who was on board on the flight, escape and was safe. However, it is feared that the remaining 10 Indians onboard are dead.
