HORSHAM, Pa., Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Human Resource Executive(R) Magazine today named the contestants for the software "Shootout" at the publication's 11th Annual HR Technology(R) Conference & Exposition, being held October 15-17 at McCormick Place in Chicago. The Conference's signature event -- "The Industry's First Talent Management Shootout" -- will take place on October 16.
Authoria, Cornerstone OnDemand, Salary.com (Nasdaq: SLRY) and Softscape will present custom software demonstrations based on a written script of HR requirements to the session's audience, which is forecast to be about 1,000 HR practitioners, industry and financial analysts, consultants, and vendors. Session attendees will vote electronically to decide the Shootout's winner.
Thirteen companies took part in the two-month screening process to select the contestants. Leighanne Levensaler, director of Talent Management Research for Bersin & Associates, wrote the script with conference co-chair Bill Kutik. Kutik is also the technology columnist for Human Resource Executive(R) Magazine.
