(YFVES), a joint venture between Visteon Corporation and Yanfeng Visteon Trim Systems Co., Ltd., recently received Shanghai General Motors' (SGM) Supplier Quality Excellence Award. The coveted award recognizes YFVES' outstanding achievements in 2007.

The Supplier Quality Excellence Award was established by SGM as a way to recognize the suppliers' performance in helping SGM maintain its excellent reputation in delivering high quality vehicles. As an industry leader, SGM has set high standards in developing its supplier base for SGM and General Motors globally.
Through continuous efforts, YFVES delivers high quality performance to SGM, and achieved 6.7 parts per million (PPM) in 2007. This achievement puts it on par with worldwide leading suppliers as global industry standards recognize plants operating at single digit PPM as best in class. Currently, YFVES supplies a variety of electronics products for SGM's four assembly plants, including stereo CD radios, instrument clusters, BCM (body control modules), climate control heads, display modules and clocks.
