SHANGHAI, July 14 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- PPLive Inc. ( http://www.pplive.com ), a leading internet TV broadcasting and online video streaming media company in China with over 100 million users worldwide, announced today that it has signed a partnership with China Central Television's CCTV.com, the official Internet platform of the 2008 Olympics, to online live broadcast Olympic sporting events, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies. Through PPLive's Internet coverage, Olympic fans can enjoy the high-quality video experience and watch the Beijing 2008 Olympics through their PCs anywhere and anytime.

PPLive currently offers a broad range of premium domestic and international sports content online including matches from the CBA, NBA, English Premier League, European Champion League, and Germany's Bundesliga, etc.

PPLive has obtained a PRC governmental license covering all video broadcasting, streaming and downloading services, which only a limited number of international venture capital-backed internet media companies has so far received in China.
