MFC Global Investment Management (U.S.) Adds Dennis McCafferty to High Yield Team

BOSTON, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MFC Global Investment Management (U.S.), LLC ("MFC Global (U.S.)") has hired Dennis McCafferty, CFA, as an analyst and member of the high yield and strategic bond teams. Mr. McCafferty reports to Arthur Calavritinos, CFA, senior vice president and portfolio manager, and Daniel Janis III, senior vice president and portfolio manager. Mr. McCafferty, 35, will be responsible for evaluating high yield investment opportunities.

Most recently, Mr. McCafferty was a principal and senior analyst with Pardus Capital Management, a New York-based hedge fund. He has also held positions with Griffen-Rose in New York, W. R. Huff Asset Management in Morristown, NJ, and Ford Motor Credit. Mr. McCafferty holds an MBA from Villanova University, and a BS in finance from The College of New Jersey. He has been a CFA charterholder and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA) since 2003.
