ACE Asia Pacific, a part of the ACE Group of Companies(R), global leaders in insurance and reinsurance, announced four new management appointments with immediate effect. The newly appointed individuals, all based in Singapore, are listed below:
Andrew (Andy) Tait, Head of Commercial Lines, Asia Pacific. Andy has been tasked to spearhead the growth of ACE's Commercial Lines business in the region as the franchise diversifies from its two key business lines namely Property & Casualty and Accident & Health. Andy has the breadth of experience to lead this important charge with a successful background in both underwriting and general management. Andy comes from a global general insurer where he was most recently their Regional Manager for Personal Lines in South East Asia and Greater China. He began his career in the UK and during the mid to late 1990's, he was the Motor Underwriting Manager for a French insurer.
Ben Ingram, Head of Financial Lines, Asia Pacific. With the growing importance of Financial Lines for ACE in the region, Ben has been appointed to head this product line, adding to the exceptionally strong team in the region. He will concurrently undertake his responsibilities as International D&O Manager from Singapore. Ben has worked previously in Asia Pacific with other leading insurance houses prior to joining ACE in 2006 in the UK. He has over 15 years of experience in Financial Lines and will focus on product development, new business opportunities and overall profitability.
Kane Bennett, Environmental Risk Manager, Asia Pacific & Far East. ACE's key goal for Property & Casualty in the region is to broaden its distribution and product range as part of its growth strategy. In keeping with this goal, Kane has been appointed to head up the niche offering of Environmental Risk which aims to differentiate ACE and add breadth to the existing Property & Casualty product suite. He has two Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Western Australia - one majoring in Environmental Geo-science and the other in Land and Water Management. Kane has a very strong background in Environmental and Pollution risks and is a qualified Environmental Auditor.
Brian Greenberg, CEO & Country Manager, ACE American Fire and Marine Insurance Company, Korea (ACE Korea). Brian is an industry veteran with extensive experience in Asia especially in Thailand and Korea, where he worked previously with a well-known life insurer. Prior to joining ACE, he was with an international bank in India heading up the distribution and marketing for its joint-venture with a life insurance company. Brian brings with him strong leadership and extensive experience in multi-channel distribution; a key component of ACE's regional growth strategy.
