Published findings in Nature Medicine in 2007 showed that hydrogen gas selectively protects against the most cytotoxic and reactive free radicals. Hydrogen is the tiniest molecule; thus, it has the potential to penetrate cells, tissues, blood vessels and even pass through the blood brain barrier.
