Diligent Technologies Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise-class de-duplication and data protection solutions, has announced that it has entered into a global reseller agreement with Sun Microsystems to resell the ProtecTIER(TM) suite of solutions (enterprise and mid-range configurations) through both its direct sales teams and the channel.
Data de-duplication is arguably the hottest emerging storage technology and is reshaping the nature of data protection. Diligent's ProtecTIER is the first and only proven de-duplication solution to meet the challenging demands of enterprise data centers. Diligent and Sun already have joint ProtecTIER customers - some with over 1 PB of physical storage under management.
