Covidien Initiates Quarterly Cash Dividend

Covidien Ltd. (NYSE: COV; BSX: COV) announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.16 per common share. The dividend is payable on November 9, 2007 to shareholders of record on October 9, 2007.
