Sonoco (NYSE: SON), the global packaging company, has announced that Brad Weller, currently director of field sales - Industrial Products North America, will become director of sales and marketing for Sonoco's Asian Pacific region effective June 1, 2007.
Weller joined the company in 1984 as an account representative and held increasingly responsible positions including area sales manager, director of business development and director of sales and marketing - Sonoco Europe. Weller, who graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in public relations, will report to Kevin Bryans, division vice president and managing director - Asia Pacific, and be based in Singapore.
