New Orleans, LA (PRWEB) May 4, 2007 -- Confidence Bay has teamed up with the AT&T Blue Room, Michael Murphy Productions, and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation to bring live coverage of the New Orleans Jazz Festival to the world via the website http://blueroom.att.com/mainstage/index.php .

The world wide web will be a little hotter this weekend with a 12 hour webcast including great artists like Norah Jones, ZZ Top, John Mayer, Marcia Ball, Harry Connick Jr. and many others.

With over 300 acts, the New Orleans Jazz Festival has become one of the largest, well-attended music festivals in the country, with top name entertainers and local New Orleans artists playing across 11 stages.

So how did Confidence Bay, the unique mobile HD edit suite from Austin, Texas land the best seats at the N.O. festival? Michael Weis, CEO of Confidence Bay explains "Michael Murphy saw our RV at SXSW last year. He had the flu, but he also had a big problem."

"Hurricane Katrina wiped out most of the post-production capabilities of New Orleans. So how was he going to edit non-linear footage on a dusty racetrack surrounded by thousands of music fans? Simple. I told him we had a mobile HD edit bay. Michael hired us on the spot," Weis said.

Michael Murphy, VP of MSN Video and producer of the New Orleans Jazz Festival for over 20 years, agreed. "We needed digital editing and we needed it on the festival grounds. Confidence Bay was the best answer, two years in a row."

Performances from both weekends of Jazzfest.will be featured, edited together using a live truck and the one-of-a-kind mobile editing bay.

A partial list of artists include:

Allen Toussaint
Bonnie Raitt
Brad Paisley
Buckwheat Zydeco
Darrel McFadden
