Great Minds... Think Like Entrepreneurs

Seminar to teach the surge of entrepreneurs who have left corporate lives behind how to stop thinking like an employee in order to fulfill dream of starting a business.

Minneapolis, MN (PRWeb) March 30, 2007 -- When Alice Barry, founder of Entertaining The Idea, LLC first began her business in 2004 she found herself in a predicament. She had lots of skills to offer potential clients, but often felt her lack of resources such as processes, systems, templates, guidelines, departments and co-workers were holding her up -- until she learned how to think like an entrepreneur. Now Barry is producing an all day seminar called, "Unleash Your Entrepreneurial Wisdom," on May 10 from 9AM-5PM in Edina featuring author/speaker/entrepreneur Barbara Winter, who will help other business owners become more successful by learning to think like entrepreneurs.

"We have many examples in our lives of how to be good employees, but very few examples of how to be entrepreneurs. One of the most difficult things for people to do when they start a venture is to make the key mental and behavioral transition from having resources to being resourceful," said Barry.

Barry observed, "I was stuck with false expectations that things had to be done exactly the same way I did them in my corporate employment days. That made things move very slowly and, at times, made my projects much more expensive than they had to be."

This seminar is designed for business, creative and social entrepreneurs who are in all stages of their journeys. It will teach them the difference between employee and entrepreneurial thinking so they can leave behind old patterns, thought processes and behaviors that hinder success, and experience more ease and opportunity when creating and running their businesses.

The cost is $177 per person and a discount of $50 is available to those who register by April 30. Registration is available online at www.BarbaraWinter.com. Call 612.929.8000 for more information.
