Harris Harris Bauerle & Sharma to hold Town Hall Meeting on Upcoming Interstate 4 widening

Meeting will acquaint Orlando property owners with their eminent domain rights

Orlando, FL (PRWeb) March 3, 2007 -- Harris Harris Bauerle & Sharma, a leading Florida eminent domain law firm, will hold a Town Hall meeting on March 6 to acquaint property owners with the impact of an upcoming widening project for Interstate 4 in and around downtown Orlando.

The widening is scheduled to take place on Interstate 4 from south of Ivanhoe Boulevard to north of Kennedy Boulevard in Eatonville.

The Town Hall meeting will be held at the offices of Harris Harris Bauerle & Sharma, 1201 E. Robinson Street, near downtown Orlando. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.

At the meeting, attorneys Stumpy Harris and Felecia Ziegler will explain which properties are expected to be affected by widening project. The two attorneys also will explain the rights of property owners whose land is affected by the widening project.

The process by which government takes property is called eminent domain or condemnation. Because taking cases are complicated and adversarial, the lawyer property owners select is an important decision. In Florida, the government is obligated to pay the legal fees of property owners whose land is taken. The government also is obligated to pay reasonable costs of experts needed to establish compensation for the taking.
